Yes, you all know I have the cutest kids EVER! ;) The other day right before bedtime I started counting down (we do the "You have 2 min...1min...30 seconds...then when we get to 5 we count 5,4,3,2,1 time for bed) and Chris was all "OK" everytime I told him how long he had acting like it was going to be easy to get him to bed. Then I got to "5" "NO 5 MOM!" "4" "NO 4 MOM!" then he started running around like 'I have to find somewhere that I can hide." Then I got to "2" so he runs back over to me and put his hand over my mouth as I'm saying "1" and says "Shhhh! Mom, it's quiet time" (I suppose it worked though because I was laughing so hard I knew if I attempted to pick him up, I would end up dropping him. So he got to stay up a little longer until I got my composure).
On Sunday, Ethan was with me in RS. He would squirm if he sat on my lap but he seemed to be fine if he sat in his own chair, so I let him have his own chair. He was sitting there tapping his foot and "reading" his little baby bible book, then he dropped his book on the floor. He bent over to see where the book went and since he was still tapping his foot he ended up kicking himself in the face. Well, he wasn't going to take THAT...so he bit down...hard...on his own foot. (He has about 8 new teeth and he's bit me before, so I can't imagine that felt very good. He decided the same thing. He looked up at me like 'Mom, that hurt.' I thought I was going to have to leave. It was hard not to laugh...in the middle of the RS lesson.
Today as we were shopping at Costco, we went to check out and the cart goes on one side of the Cashier and the customer on the other. Well, Ethan was in the cart and Chris was walking and when they asked Christopher to go on the other side with his Mom he grabbed on to Ethan like "I'm not going anywhere." So I thought if I picked him up, he'd come with me. But I was wrong. I had to explain to him that it was just for a minute, and they weren't taking Ethan. As soon as they put the cart over to the otherside and loaded it up, I looked over and Chris was dragging this heavy cart over to me so that we wouldn't leave without Ethan, it was so adorable.
