We got into our house on the 23rd of April (Can I get a Woot-Woot?) It's AWESOME!!! I love it more than I did when we were looking at it. We are trying to get things unpacked. I am really surprised at how much we have actually gotten done. I have NEVER had this much energy when I am THIS far pregnant. Jon tells me 100 times a day not to over-do it...I try not to, but I am so very excited that this will be our last move for ALOT of years. Since we've been married, the longest we have stayed in one house is a year (maybe a year and a half, I can't remember)...but in any case I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF MOVING!!!! So the thought of actually staying in one place longer than a year or 2 excites me beyond all belief. And yesterday it finally warmed up enough that the boys got to go play (in our own back yard). They thought that was the coolest thing EVER! They had a ton of fun. I had to try to keep them on the other side of the yard though because someone had a glass breaking party back there. So I have to try and clean up all the glass so that the boys don't get it through their foot or something. Oh, and when we were closing (I've decided I don't want to sign my name EVER again for at least a month), after we finally signed the last paper Chad (our loan officer) said "Congratulations, you are now home owners" and handed us a bottle (it looked like a wine bottle) full of jelly beans. He smiled and said "Due to liabilities, we can't give you wine." I said "That's fine, I'm pregnant and Mormon so we wouldn't drink it anyway." Then he laughed and said "I've found that if you eat the WHOLE bottle of jelly beans at once it will give you the same effect as the alcohol anyway." I thought that was funny. Then De (our realtor) gave us this really cute 7 piece serving set. I thought that was real nice of her. Then yesterday as the boys were playing outside this guy came up to the gate with some cookies. I was a little iffy at first. So I went over there to see what he wanted...I suppose I'm a little sexist, if it was a woman with cookies I wouldn't have thought anything of it, but since it was a man I was like "hmmmm." Turns out it was Nannet's (I'm sure I butchered the spelling) husband (It's a lady from church that sits by me every week and plays with the boys, she's really nice. And her husband was just coming to get our information so that he could request our records. They tried when we were living in the motel, but if they sent our records then they would have to send them to 4th ward (technically the motel is in 4th ward boundaries) and we were going to 7th ward. So it wouldn't have done any good. So Nannet told him to wait and she baked some cookies for the boys. I thought that was really sweet...and they were REALLY good.
So now all we have to do (aside from unpacking) is have a baby on Friday and then take Ethan to Utah after that. Can you believe it? This morning the phone rang, I picked it up and it was the hospital saying "We have you down for induction on Friday" I'm all "yeah" they said "I hate to do this to you, but is there anyway that you could come in on Monday instead?" I'm thinking, even if I had NOTHING going on, maybe....MAYBE if you paid me a million dollars I would wait until Monday. But I said "No, that's not possible, my Son has an appointment at Primary Children's on Monday." So they were all "Well, I will see what I can do." I'm thinking "Seriously, I'm going to be there on Friday...I don't care if I have to drink a gallon of hot sauce and have this kid in the middle of your hallway....I will be there ON FRIDAY. The only exception I will make with that is if you want to do it on Thursday. Oh heaven's, some people.
Then on Monday we are taking Ethan to the hospital...hopefully it will just end up being a road trip to Utah. The bump feels like it is going deeper under the skin now, so I don't know what's going on, we're hoping nothing is going on. And everyone keeps asking if I am going to feel up to going to Utah the weekend after having a baby. So I was just going to let everyone know that Jon has the day off and is completely prepared to go by himself. Or we could find someone to go with him if he wanted. I am not going to push myself. I would really like to be there with my little boy for whatever they have to do to him...or for him I suppose. But if I don't think I'm going to be alright or if I think it will be too much for Justin, I am just going to stay home. And I will still have family here, so I won't be alone either. Well, this blog is long enough and the boys are being awfully quiet, so I'd better go see what they are up to. ;)
The most important part of the story is the ending...no one reads a book to get to the middle.

I'm so tired...
I know I already posted today, but I am bored and I can't sleep. I am so excited (and nervous...and about a million other emotions at the same time). That and I think I am developing allergies...what timing huh? So that makes it a little hard to sleep too. LOL. It was actually kind of nice to eat out today. I finally got those BBQ ribs I've been craving for a week. They tasted soooooo good. I don't think that anything should taste THAT good.
I am so looking forward to having this baby. I am so sick of being pregnant. And Christopher and Ethan have been training me to wake up every few hours. I am almost looking forward to only having to wake up to feed Justin and then get to go back to sleep. The stress all of this is putting on the poor little guys is just getting too much for them I think. They can tell that something major is happening but they aren't sure HOW major. I think Christopher understands about Justin being born and maybe the new house...we've moved so many times I think he's used to that. But poor Ethan I think just knows that major change is coming and I don't know that he understands any of it yet. He's been waking up every few hours all night long, just to make sure that the family is still there and hasn't left him. It's makes me sad, I wish that I could explain to him what was happening...but he just wouldn't understand. He's come and touched my belly a few times and said "Justin", but I think to him it's just like we decided to name my belly Justin, because he's been doing that to his own stomach too...he'll lift up his shirt and point to his belly and say "Justin". It's pretty cute though. He's the one I'm going to worry about when we have to leave him to go have the baby. I'm leaving him with my cousin (that he's never met before) and we have to leave them there in the morning (neither one of the boys are "morning people"). Ever since Jon and I had to leave the boys with my aunt to go to the interview for Jon's job Ethan has been a little weary anytime we leave. But at least he's old enough now that he remembers Grandmas and Grandpas, so when they come to pick him up it won't be so bad. I can't imagine the drama if Ethan didn't remember them. He'd be like "She left me with this lady and said SHE'S alright, and now this lady is trying to give me away to these people." I think usually I overly worry about my boys. They usually do a lot better than I think they are going to do. Like when I left the boys with my aunt, I thought that Chris would start to worry after he had to spend the night...but when I walked in the door 3 days later he looked up from his toys and was all "Hi Mom." and then went back to playing with his toys, it was like I was only gone for a few minutes. That made me feel much better knowing that he wasn't hurting the whole time I was gone and thinking I left. So I will try to be optimistic that they will be alright and won't be scared or worried that I left them or anything like that. I do feel bad for the boys though that they have to go through so much change all at the same time. We just moved (into the motel) and this has been "home" (more or less) for the last 2 months. Then just as they are getting used to this being home, we decide to move "home" again, then we have to leave them for a while, while I go have a baby, then we bring a new baby home, and then Ethan has his Doctor's appointment and hopefully that won't bring any new changes for him other than a road trip to Utah. But we really don't know what they are going to be doing or what they are going to find, so I really can't say what changes it will bring. Oh, I will be glad when everything is back to "normal"...whatever that is.

The long awaited Baby!
No, I didn't HAVE the baby...but we found out when he's coming. We are going to have him on May 1st. I am so excited. That is not this weekend, but next. Yeah! I never thought I would be able to say this...WE ARE UNDER 10 DAYS! IN THE SINGLE DIGETS! And then we will be in our house by then and a ton of family is coming too. Yeah! I am so looking forward to all of this. I get to see all of my family, I get to be NOT pregnant and I get to be in MY OWN HOUSE! That's really all I have to say right now. Some people should be expecting a call from me soon to ask for favors. Thank you all in advance.

The house...AGAIN!
I knew Wyoming Land and Title would do that. They chose, not only, the last possible day that they could set up the appointment for, but also right during my Doctor's appointment. So I had to reschedule that. I wish everyone were as easy to deal with as that OB/GYN office is. They are always SO polite and willing to help without getting upset. They are really good...it's too bad they couldn't be a little closer, I think that's the only thing that would make them any better. :) So now we are aiming for Thursday...assuming they aren't lying AGAIN! Then we get to live in an empty house for a week, then the movers will come RIGHT before the baby is born (hopefully in enough time to get the baby's clothes and stuff found, so we don't have to bring him home from the hospital wrapped in a towel or something LOL. At least after Thursday this
"nesting" is going to be useful. I can get my house cleaned before we mess it up again with boxes and everything.
I was sure I talked to Jon first and then read Michelle's post on my wall. Jon was the one to give me the news that we couldn't close until Thursday (instead of today like they promised), then I got on facebook and when I answered Michelle's post I realized that in one week and one day I could have a baby!!!! I doubt we will do it quite that soon. But just knowing that it's possible that it could last only ONE MORE WEEK! I have been waiting for that day for the last 9 months (almost). Then I will have a baby in my arms (instead of in my lungs all the time), not just a house...but OUR house (that will quickly become our home), a nice fenced in back yard, a place to cook, a refrigerator that holds more than 2 days worth of food, a freezer that is not only NOT the size of a small book...but one that actually freezes stuff on the INSIDE of the freezer (instead of the outside as our current one does), and best of all PRIVACY! Jon and I can watch movies after the boys are in bed without having to do the "Oh, yeah, he got an owie." , "Ooops, he fell down" and the like. And you have no idea how much I am looking forward to just spending the night in MY OWN BED! And another plus, after the baby is born I can just sit up when I need to get out of bed. No rolling or flopping back and forth like a beached whale every time I need to get out of bed. Yeah-a-h! (And yes, I can hear Mama saying "THEN I will be happy.") And just to clear that up, despite having to wait an extra week to get into my house because everyone is moving SO SLOW and having to live in a motel for the last 2 months, I am happy. I still have my family, everything is still going great with the pregnancy, the house (though it is seemingly stuck in slow motion) is still coming and I still have some of my sanity left. So it's all good.

Here and there
Oh, some people... We were supposed to be closing on our house tomorrow (Monday), but the people at the Land and Title company decided they would wait until the Friday before closing to get the seller's information that they needed (that paperwork takes 3-5 days)...so assuming they work weekends...which I HIGHLY doubt...then we will be closing tomorrow. Otherwise it could be clear until Thursday before we close. And then we had to reschedule the movers (because if we end up NOT closing tomorrow then the movers would show up on Tuesday to move our stuff in and then not have anywhere to move it into. So no matter when we close on the house the movers aren't coming now until the 27th.
Christopher is feeling much better now...unfortunately, Ethan is feeling much worse now. Hopefully he will get better soon. And Jon was sick in between the boys being sick. Hopefully I will not get anything. So far the only sickness I've had is from the baby, and that will go away in a few weeks :) WOO-HOO!!! And we will (I hope) find out on Thursday when EXACTLY we are going to have the baby.
Oh, and Chris, the other night, had been running and running and running from one end of the motel to the other. He ran until he tired himself out (I didn't know that was possible). So he came to lay down with me. He says "Mom, I so tired." then he laid down for a few minutes and then he pointed to his legs and says "Mom, needs batteries." I thought that was so cute. Then I was watching Ethan later and see him running circles around Topher while Topher was watching cartoons. Chris used to do that to him before he learned to walk...so I guess now it's pay back time.

Baby, Oh, Baby!!!
We went to the Doctor today. And I got wonderful news. The Doctor told me (although it wasn't MY doctor...she was on vacation this week) that I can be induced as early as the 28th of April! Woo-Hoo! I have never felt like the end was so near. That's not this Tuesday, but the Tuesday after that. Oh, goodness these next few weeks are going to be so hectic! We found out that the stinkin' Land and Title company decided they need some paper work for the seller's loan before they will set up an appointment for the closing date. So it may not be Monday (like they told us it will be) it could be as late as Thursday. So if the closing comes later and the baby comes earlier, it's really going to be crazy! I really hope that I can find all the baby clothes and whatnot now. So we are going to have another appointment next week and we should find out EXACTLY when we are going to have the baby. The news that in 2 weeks it is possible for me to have a baby was such good news that it didn't even bother me that the house may take longer because people can't get their ducks in a row. I am WAY excited!!!

Sick kids and a Sensitive nose...
I have decided that being pregnant and having 2 sick kids are just not good combinations. I've decided that it makes me feel even worse for them when they are still so polite even when they feel like that. Last night (after the 4th time Chris had thrown up) I had him at the sink and was washing him up and he says "Thank you Mom...I sorry, Topher sick." That just made me want to cry. Every time I cleaned him up or held him, or put him back to bed or all the other stuff that goes along with taking care of a sick child he always made sure to say "thank you". I made sure when he appoligized to let him know that it wasn't his fault. Ethan was a bit of a different story. He was sick the way a normal child gets sick. Which is to say he spent FOREVER screaming like a little girl. I made him take a nap and he's much better now. Still sick, but not screaming and fighting.
Other than that there is nothing new here. Only a few more days and we will be in our own house. We won't have the internet yet, but we wil get it as soon as we can so I can up date everyone. I promise that I will be extatic when we get in. And the movers are supposed to be there the day after. Then 2 more weeks and we will have a baby. Then things will be "normal" again. As normal as they will be from here on out I suppose.

So VERY close...
Oh, we are SO close to getting our own house...and not a moment too soon. We are all going CRAZY in this motel! I can't wait to get my stuff back either; I am VERY excited for that. Especially all my cooking stuff. No more eating out (I never thought I would actually have to eat out so much that I would physically get sick of EVERY restaurant there is in Green River). Plus I am excited to get some adult time too. Then Jon and I can stay up and watch a movie past the boys' bed time. We can just sit and talk without a constant "Mom...Mom...Mom...Mom...Dad, Mom not listen...Mom...Mom...Mom..." and if Jon and I want to watch a movie that has ANY violence in it we can watch it without the "Oops, he fell down" or "yeah, he got an owie" when someone falls off a building or gets blown up or something. And I can put things (like my glasses and cell phone) on my night stand and not have to worry about someone "misplacing" it while I am sleeping. And last...but CERTAINLY not least...when it's been one of those days, I can just go into my room and close the door without tying up the bathroom. Oh, it'll be so wonderful. Only one week left and we should be closing our house.
And we are in the 20's for the baby...WOO-HOO! I am so excited about that! I love this kid to death...but I REALLY REALLY REALLY want him OUT! And that's all I have to say about that.

Surviving...sanity intact?!?!?!?
Well...it's so close I can smell it. We are hoping that our loan officer is going to be able to get it all together before next Monday (not THIS Monday... the one after that). He's still working on it and he's not there today (it's Good Friday) and won't be there all weekend or Monday. So he will have 4 days to get everything together when he comes back because banks don't work on weekends and I don't want him finishing stuff up on the day of closing. I think I might go crazy...assuming I'm not already there. I don't know...maybe I already am there.
So, I'm trying to talk my sister into coming with me to the Stampin' Up! convention. That would be so ridiculously fun, just the 2 of us for a few days...free stuff...and borrowing other people's ideas to make myself look all talented...it sounds like a good time to me. Besides, I NEED a vacation. And after we are all moved into the house and un-packed, have taken Ethan to the hospital in Utah, and have officially added Justin to our family I am REALLY going to need a vacation.

The Greatest Husband!
Man, I have not slept that well in a LONG time. My husband is the greatest! I couldn't sleep last night because SOMEONE kept kicking me in the ribs; so I asked Jon if he would just rub my stomach for a while (Justin will just settle right down when Jon puts his hand on my stomach.) I like to think that Justin knows that's his Daddy, Jon - being the thinker that he is - says it probably has to do with MY heart rate. When Jon touches my belly I relax, therefore Justin relaxes because Mommy relaxes. Whoever is right....it works. So he rubbed my stomach for a while, then I just COULDN'T stay in that position any more so I had to roll over...so he started rubbing my back. I don't know what time he went to sleep. He was sweet enough to keep massaging until I fell asleep. He's such a sweetheart. I actually slept through the whole night (I really am ready for another child when "through the night" means from 11:30pm until 6:45am) hehehe.
And for those of you who saw my facebook page, I would just like to clarify that I am NOT having a baby in 2 weeks...I am moving into my house (hopefully) in 2 weeks. Then 2 weeks after that I am having a baby. The house needs to come first, because if the baby comes first, then we have to buy some new outfits, a new car seat, a new bassinet, etc., etc., and that would not make me happy because we already have those things, but they are in storage (in Pocatello) so we would have to buy all of that stuff and then we have 2 of everything...we don't need (or want) 2 of everything unless we are having twins (which we're not). Well, I think I am ready for a nap and I can tell that Ethan for sure is.

OK...Y'all know I have to do this!
YEAH! I'M IN THE 30's now! Woo-hoo! 39 more days (give or take) and I am going to have a baby boy to hold in my arms...and I am NEVER going to sleep again! :( But, at least I will be NOT sleeping in a house instead of NOT sleeping in a motel. Woo-hoo AGAIN! Oh, and that makes me a little sad at the same time because when the baby comes Ethan will go into Nursery a few weeks later...why won't my kids listen to me...I told them both to just stay at this age and stop growing up....neither one of them are listening to me. I worry about that Sunday. Topher has never had a problem with me leaving him. If I left him with someone and said "This is so-n-so, they are OK." Then he's like "Great! I won't even notice when you leave." But Ethan has never been OK with me leaving him with anyone. He's always worried that I am going to leave him. Especially since after I left him with my Aunt Tamina. Jon and I had to go to his interview without the kids, so we left him with my Aunt for 3 days...he was positive that we were NEVER coming back. He about killed himself getting down the stairs when I came in the door...poor guy. I hope he'll get used to it (if not for his sake, then for the nursery leader's sake).
So as far as the house goes they should have everything taken care of in about 3 weeks (to tlhe day). I am going to send the boys to the people doing the loan and let them take care of 2 kids that don't have anywhere to run around....besides thier legs....and then see how quickly they can get things done. They are being SO very slow. I think that they are going to take as much time as they can possibly get away with.
And, quick question that has NOTHING to do with the house or the baby...Is anyone out there that I know going to the Stampin' Up! convention in Aug. I thought it would be fun to go. It's in SLC (I don't know if that's where they usually have it or not) but I thought since it would be not too far away now and I don't have to be driving 8 hours or more to get there...I thought it would be fun to go. But it would be more fun if I knew someone there. And anyone that went to any of the previous conventions....let me know if it was worth the money.

I wish you ENOUGH!
I got this story on my e-mail. I thought it was so touching that I would share it.
Recently I overheard a Father and Daughter in their last moments together at the airport. They had announced the departure.
Standing near the security gate, they hugged and the Father said "I love you and I wish you enough."
The Daughter replied "Dad, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed and I wish you enough."
They kissed and the Daughter left. The Father walked over to the window where I was seated. Standing there I could see that he wanted and needed to cry. I tried not to intrude on his privacy, but he invited me in by asking "Did you ever say good bye to someone knowing it would be forever?"
"Yes, I have" I said "Forgive me for asking, but why is this a forever goodbye?"
"I am old. And she lives far away. I have challenges ahead and the reality is - the next trip back will be for my funeral."
"When you were saying goodbye, I heard you say 'I wish you enough' may I ask what that means?"
He began to smile "That's a wish that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone." He paused for a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail, and he smiled even more. "When we say 'I wish you enough' we were wanting the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them." Then turning to me he shared the following as if reciting it from memory.
I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how grey the day may appear.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.
I wish you enough pain so that even the smallest joys in life appear bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy you wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all you posses.
I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final goodbye.
Then he began to cry and walked away.
They say it takes a minute to find a special person. An hour to appreciate them. And a life time to forget them.
To all my friends and loved ones...I wish you ENOUGH.
