Our house

So it looks like we are going to be here for 2-3 more weeks and then we can move into our own home! Yeah. I wish I had gotten a picture but I didn't think about it until later...our kids are climbing the walls here (Litterally). I was watching Ethan, he's picked up somethings from Chris (luckily nothing we are going to have to break him of) ;) He goes to one end of the motel and says "GO!", then he will run to the other side, clap for himself then yell "GO!" and run back to the other side. This can keep him entertained for longer than a 1 year old should be entertained with one activity. Then yesterday I was watching Christopher and he would be on his hands and knees and back up to the wall and then start climbing the wall and laughing that he was upside-down. It was really comical.
I did go to the family dollar and pick up some water paints, construction paper and stickers and stuff. So we make sure to turn off the TV and paint or something everyday. It helps. I feel so bad for them, there is nothing for them to do. And, of course, this being Wyoming...the weather doesn't know that it's spring. So it's been way too cold to take them to the park or anything. It makes me feel bad when we take out the trash (it's about 5 feet from our door, so we don't bother having the cleaning ladies do it) and the boys will run outside and it seems like they are in heaven just being outside for 30 seconds. I wish it would warm up here so we could go to the park, they could spend all day there.
And the thing that annoys me the most is that now we are at the point that there is nothing we can do to speed up the loan process. There is no one that we need to call and nag day after day, there aren't any papers that we need to sign, there's nothing to do but wait. Hopefully we won't have to wait as long as Nanny. Oh, that would REALLY irritate me. That's the one thing that has kept me sane during this whole house buying thing is that I know it could be worse. Chad (our loan officer) seems to be pretty on top of things. And if he says "I will do it today." it gets done TODAY without us having to babysit him or nag him everyday to get it done.
I am getting VERY excited though. I have been thinking about what we are going to do with the house (little by little of course)...the first thing we are going to do is get a Washer and Dryer. At these prices they will pay for themselves in a week...even if we go for the expensive brand. The last time we had to do laundry at a laundry mat we were complaining because it got up to almost $2 to wash a load of laundry and we only got 12 min. for a quarter. Here it is $4 to wash and you only get 6 min for a quarter. That really adds up fast. I'm glad that we decided to only bring the bear minimum for clothes. So I suppose we will survive for another 2-3 weeks here...and if the weather warms up enough that we can go to the park I think it will go by fairly quickly.
