HOME!

I am very excited about getting to go home for Thanksgiving. Then I don't have to worry about house hunting for a week. That in and of itself will make that week GREAT! Luke says that with the economy the way it is we don't need to rush...and I don't want to, but there were 5 houses for sale in Inkom (we want to live there WAY more than Pocatello) and now there are 3. One is in a new subdivision so we would have neighbors 2 feet from our house...if I wanted that I would live in Pocatello. And the other is only $73,000 (I think) to "reflect the work that still needs to be done" so not really into that one. And then there's the one that we are looking at right now. (The one that my parents saw with us). I know our realtors will be very upset if we get that one...it was the first one we looked at, then we drug them all over the place and then go with the first one that we looked at. Hehehe...oh, well...that's their job right?

So we finally have almost all of our Christmas shopping done...at least the stuff that we need to have before we come down for Thanksgiving. I'm very excited to see all the family too. Hopefully we will know if the baby is a boy or a girl before we come down. Of course we may not know because we decided to come down a little early so I will have to reschedule my Dr. appointment so we will see what happens.

Work to be done can be alright...Well, if you husband doesn't hunt I don't see a problem because you don't lose four months every year to that...but then again it's a pain, but still. I wouldn't trade our nice little fixer upper for anything--except for our nice little fixer upper to be fixered up!

I don't mind a fixer upper, but we found out the reason that room is like that is because when it rains all the rain drains under that room instead of away from the house like it's supposed to. Plus we are just more in love with living in Inkom instead of Pocatello, which I think is the bigger reason.
