Just thought I would let people know that we are in Green River right now. Jon's done with his ALL DAY interview, and I found out that I don't know what to do with an entire day all to myself. The interview went well (apparently so) they offered Jon the job before he left the plant, so apparently they liked him. Then we had dinner with 3 of the people from FMC. They brought their wives so that I wouldn't feel left out. I thought that was nice of them. But it kind of reminded me of being home, you know where the conversations just seem to come out of nowhere but every still seems to follow where it is going? I love that. It was ALOT more relaxing than when I had dinner with the guys at Smurfit Stone. On the other hand it was all "the guys" and me and Christopher (who was like 1 1/2 at the time)...so NOT relaxing AT ALL!
Well, I just thought I would give everyone an update. And I am SO glad to see my babies tomorrow!
The most important part of the story is the ending...no one reads a book to get to the middle.

Our "Vacation"
I don't know how much of a "vacation" this is for Jon...not a very good one if you can call it a vacation. He has a very full day today. He started out with breakfast this morning with 2 of the "head honcho" guys. Then he's got interview after interview after interview. All together he gets interviewed (I think) 4 or 5 different times. Ahhhh! Some with different people, some with the same people. And he has a catered lunch with the ENTIRE Environmental Department. Then sometime in the morning he has a 15 minute break. Otherwise, his schedule is full from 7:00 this morning until 3:30pm and then Jon and I both have dinner with his potential bosses (and their wives) at 6:30 tonight. His poor brain is going to be FRIED! I think I am more nervous than he is though. I just want him to feel like he did well (whether or not he gets offered the job - it's in the Lord's hands now) just as long as he felt like he did the best he could, I don't really care one way or the other. (Tenge Fe).
So this is a nice all expenses paid vacation for me though. I think I am going to take a nap, then I am going to look at apartments (maybe), then I am going shopping for sure. And then who knows. Tonight after dinner, Jon and I are going to go out to the movies...and don't even have to look for a last minute babysitter. And leaving the boys wasn't as hard as I thought (ask me about it again tomorrow though). I cried on the way home. And then I kept busy so I wouldn't think about it. It was like they were just taking a nap because it was about nap time when I got home, so I could pretend. Then I was glad we didn't have to unpack the boys when we got here. That wind was so cold! It looks like a nice day out today though.
So, hope my boys are doing well. They were last night I could hear them playing in the background, and Jennifer said that they had been doing well. Ethan took a nap as soon as I left, and then woke up and started playing. And Christopher, well, I'm not so worried about him, he's not as "clingy" as Ethan is...and he is old enough to know that I am comming back, I haven't left him for good. But they both sounded like they were doing well, so I am happy.
Well, I am going to go take a nap now...hahaha to all the mother's out there that don't get to take a nap whenever they want to. ;) LOL

Leaving my boys!
Oh, I feel so silly. Last night I was dreaming about how happy I was going to be when I got to come back and see my boys...we haven't even left yet. I think I would be going insane if I had to wonder if the person I was leaving them with could handle both of my boys...but she's raised 7 kids and the first 3 were boys, so she has some experience to say the least. Chalk this up to another thing I didn't understand about Motherhood. I remember staying with Robyn and Doug (I don't remember how long we were there, but I know we had to spend at least one night and my parents were out of town for some reason); and I remember seeing my Mom cry when she left and I was like "It's only for a little while and you know that Doug and Robyn will take care of us...they aren't just going to leave us to fend for ourselves." to me it was no different than when we spend the night at their house (which we did ALL the time). But now I understand that it's not the same. If my boys were just spending the night for the fun of it and I were here, I know that if they got too scared I could go get them. If Chris ended up having another seizure (which I'm not really too worried about, it's been long enough that I don't think he's going to have anymore), but IF he did, I could go be with him. So many "IF this happened or IF that happened" I could be there in an hour. But just knowing that I can't. Knowing that if they get scared they just have to tough it out. If Chris has a seizure, we can't just be there. If it was something life-threatening even we could be there in 5 hours (who are we kidding, Jon would be driving and we could be there in 3 or less LOL and I wouldn't stop him from driving like that either). I'm sure it will be quite uneventful, and I know Tamina will know what to do if something did happen. But still, I don't like the thought of my boys being scared and me not being there. Or knowing that Ethan is probably going to think that we left for good. Chris is old enough to understand that we will come back. Ethan, I'm just hoping that he'll be alright with Chris there. I'm not sure how relaxing this "vacation" is going to be. We will see I guess.
Now I don't really have much to say, but I don't want to stop blogging because as soon as I do I have to start doing laundry and packing and trying to make sure I don't forget to pack anything. Yeah right, like that's ever happened in the history of FOREVER! I always forget to pack something, I just hope it's something that we can buy when we are there...and not something like "Bear" (Christopher's favorite toy...I think even Tamina wouldn't survive without bear there). I am however looking forward to SLEEPING (assuming that Justin will let me, he's been the one keeping me up the most lately). But to only have ONE child waking me up, that will be nice. And I can take a nice looooong shower without anyone coming in and saying "Mom, what doing?" or "Mom, E hurt." or "Mom? Me shower?" And then I get to go out shopping. If I want to try on some clothes there will be no "Hey, leave that door CLOSED!" and if I just want to do some window shopping there will be no "Too Far! Get back here!" "Stop teasing your brother" "I don't care if it's Lightning McQueen, I'm NOT paying that much for it" if I can get over this "I hope nothing happens" "I hope they are alright" "I hope they are having fun" kick, then it will be nice to be just me and Jon...well for at least one night. He's got an all day "interview" (they are going to show him around the plant and stuff), and we are going to dinner with his (hopefully) future boss and some other guys, (I think we might be having dinner with Kristin's Father-in-law and Mother-in-law...I don't know, I think one of the guys' last name was Owens that we are going to dinner with and I know her Father-in-law works at FMC). That would be an ice-breaker LOL, gotta love the "Lovell Connection".
Well, I think I have put it off long enough now, there is laundry that HAS to be done and packed TODAY! Oh, and before I forget, good luck to Ranee' and Adam, you have been in my prayers. I hope you get that one in Ephriam though if that's where you would be happy.

Baby
oh yeah, I also wanted people to know that we DID NOT go with Sven Wolfgang. We've decided that our Baby's name is going to be Justin Michael Egeland. Unless he's born and does not look like a Justin - then we are going to be in big trouble.
UPDATE
So the guys at FMC (The Green River Job) called back and said that they changed their minds and they want an interview with Jon on Thursday. I will update and let you know how that goes when we find out. So that's always a good sign. Maybe that was just a trial of our faith. I sure hope so, I've heard very good things about Green River from everyone that has lived there. The only negative thing that I've heard is the weather is terrible (real bad in the winter). I decided that I can live with stupid weather much better than I can live with stupid people. And Jon and I get to go by ourselves...yeah for Aunt Tamina. We'll see how that goes. Chris I'm sure will be alright. I think Ethan will have a rough time, but it will help that Christopher is there with him at least. I think that Mommy will have a rough time too. Aside from in the hospital with Christopher when I had to go home without him when he was born, I've never left the kids over night before. At least this time I know he will have competent people watching over him. In the hospital I was less than confident about that; some nurses just should have chosen a different occupation I think. I know it'll be rough on Mommy, but I will survive.
So the other night Chris and I were doing our night-time singing. I just taught him "The wise man and the foolish man" so he really likes that song now. I was laughing so hard when I got to the part about "...the house on the sand washed away." Chris looks up and me and says "Mom? His HOUSE washed away?" I said "Yep, his house washed away." Chris says "Oh, shoot." That kid cracks me up. He was worried for quite a while over that poor guys house washing away.
While we were shopping the other day Chris picked up a "Lightning McQueen Phone" and he was talking on it, like he'd seen Dad doing on his phone. Then he stuck it in his pocket 'cause that's what Dad does with his. I thought it was cute that Jon bought the phone for him because Jon isn't the "impulse buyer" type. Despite the "tough guy" thing he does when it comes to making sure his boys are always doing what they are supposed to, I think he just has a soft spot in his heart when he sees his boys copying what they've seen him do. I thought it was very cute of both them. Then on the way out I heard Christopher taking to "Lightning" he'd been talking for quite a while then I noticed he was saying the same thing over and over so I listened to see what he was saying. He was saying "I really like you...I HATE Thomas." (Thomas the train, it's his second favorite thing next to Lightning McQueen). Ranee' you're pretty much right, we never stop laughing around here with these 3 boys living here. But I really love it that way.

For those who are wondering...
We are all doing great! It looks like (maybe) we will be here through February. Good, maybe that will give me time to get the packing done. The people in Green River decided that they are going to wait until May...ish to see if they can afford to hire on another person or not...seems that's what EVERYONE is doing. So we'll see what happens.
Chris is getting so smart, I don't know what to do with him somedays. He's going to be one of those "I don't even know what you are talking about, wait until your Dad gets home, you can ask him." when he needs help with homework and what not.
Ethan is starting to walk now, acctually he is doing really well. All it took was ONE time when he wanted to chase Topher and Mom wasn't there to hold his hand. He took of after Chris by himself and decided that was fun. So, he's really been working hard on that.
Jon's last day of work is the 31st (well technically the 30th, since the 31st is a Saturday). I think once he has a few days at home with nothing to do, he will decide that he's going on the warpath looking for jobs. It'll be nice to have him home for a little bit though and not have to worry about work.
I am madly packing not knowing what to leave out 'cause I don't know how long we are going to be here. It's kinda hard to do that. Plus I always like to start packing 2-3 months in advance, but we didn't know 2-3 months in advance that we were going to be moving, so I didn't get that luxury this time. But I am having LOADS of fun with the boys. I love watching them grow up...and I dread it at the same time...any Mom out there would understand that I'm sure.
So that's the Egeland's in a nutshell for those who were wondering.

BABY TAG!
I saw this on Ranee's blog, thought it was cute.
1. Where were you when you first found out you were pregnant?
Chris - Officially I was in the bathroom...I knew about 2 months before that though.
Ethan - Same except I knew about 1 month before.
Justin - Same
2.Who was with you?
Chris - Jon was in the bedroom
Ethan - Jon was in the bedroom
Justin - Jon was in the livingroom
3. How did you find out you were pregnant?
Chris - I just "felt pregnant"...try explaining that to your husband when your pregnancy test comes back negative. LOL
Ethan - Same, but not TOTALLY sure
Justin - I was just hoping so hard that I wasn't going to get too excited until I knew for sure.
4. What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant?
Chris - I hope Jon's not mad.
Ethan - I hope I can handle another, but YEAH!
Justin - Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
5. Your husband's reaction?
Chris - Are you sure?
Ethan - Oh, good.
Justin - Do you feel better now that you KNOW?
But he was happy with all of them. You should have seen him the first time he felt Chris kick. It was really cute.
6. Who was the first person you told?
Chris - Jon
Ethan - Jon
Justin - Jon
7. Did you plan to get pregnant?
Chris - One of us did, the other was just getting tired of hearing "I want a baby" I think, so he wasn't NOT trying...LOL
Ethan - Yes
Justin - Yes
8. Was everybody happy for you?
Chris - No
Ethan - Yes
Justin - Yes
9. Did you go out and celebrate?
Chris - I think we might have
Ethan - No
Justin - No
10. Did you want to find out the sex?
Chris - Yes, but I knew it was a boy.
Ethan - Yes, but I was pretty sure it was a boy
Justin - Yes, and it's a good thing we did 'cause I thought he was a girl.
11. What was the sex?
Chris - Boy
Ethan - Boy
Justin - Boy
12. Did anyone throw you a baby shower?
Chris - Yes
Ethan - No
Justin - He's not even born yet. How boring is a baby shower without a baby? (Except under special circumstances).
13. If yes who?
Chris - There were so many people in charge that I don't remember who was "in charge"
14. Did you get any outfits at the baby shower that you knew you weren't going to put on your baby?
Chris - No, they were all very cute, I think people just know what I think it cute.
15. How much weight did you gain?
Chris - Honestly, I don't even know, I never look at the scales when I'm pregnant. The Dr. says "You're gaining just the right amount", "you're gaining too much" , or "you're not gaining enough" we don't do the number thing.
Ethan - Same
Justin - Same
16. Did you lose all the weight you gained?
Chris - I think I was close but then I got pregnant with Ethan.
Ethan - I think I was close but then I got pregnant with Justin. ;)
17. Did you get a lot of stretch marks?
Chris - Yes
Ethan - No
Justin - Not yet
18. What did you crave the most?
Chris - Toast...yes I said toast. I've got to tell you though, toast should NEVER taste that good. Given the choice between a prime rib and toast, I would have chosen toast.
Ethan - A&W Rootbeer
Justin - I want to say chocolate, but I'm not sure if that's caused by the pregnancy or if the pregnancy is just an excuse...hehehe.
19. Did you crave anything crazy?
Chris - No
Ethan - No
Justin - Big Mac's...I really don't like Big Macs...and he doesn't like Chineese...I love Chineese, so that's where we're going as soon as he doesn't have a say in the matter anymore.
20. Who or what got on your nerves the most?
Chris - EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING...my poor husband, I was soooooo moody.
Ethan - Smells. Jon started calling me "Sal" (from the movie K-PAX...he was in the mental institution because he thought everyone and everything smelled really bad)
Justin - Some days I can't take any amount of joking...doesn't matter what kind or who is doing it. It's just not funny no matter what...I think I'm fine most days though...maybe I should ask Jon about that, he might have a different story.
21. Were you married at the time?
Chris - Yes
Ethan - Yes
Justin - Yes
22. Did you have any complications during the pregnancy?
Chris - Yes, that's why he was born early.
Ethan - Yes
Justin - Not so far (YEAH-A-H!)
23. Where were you when you went into labor?
Chris - In the hospital
Ethan - In the hospital
Justin - It's WAY to early for that. But hopefully I'll be in the hospital...everyone tells me that it's more painful when you're induced, (and I don't really know 'cause both of mine were induced) but I like not having to be like "I think it's real labor" and hoping that we can get the kids to someone and get to the hospital before the baby come...or after it's too late to have drugs...AHHH!
24. Did your water break?
Can you have a baby WITHOUT your water breaking? If you mean by itself...
Chris - No, the Dr. did it.
Ethan - No, the Dr. did it.
Justin - Will probablly be the same, but who knows?
25. Did you go early or late?
Chris - Early
Ethan - Right on time
Justin - Who knows?
26. Who was in the room with you when you gave birth?
Chris - 1 Dr. and 1 Nurse other than that if you weren't at the conception you WILL NOT be there at the birth...that's the rule. So obviously Jon was there too. If I had my way the Dr. and Nurse would be waiting outside incase something went wrong and Jon would be the ONLY one in there...but that's just me.
Ethan - Same answer as Chris.
Justin - Will be the same.
27. Was it video taped?
Chris - No, the Nuns don't allow that (I was at a Catholic Hospital)...not that it would have been vido taped if they had allowed that.
Ethan - Same answer (Interesting side note that I bet you didn't know about me, when I was going to the hospital to have Chris, that was the first time I'd ever seen a nun...if you don't count the movies...I lived in such a Mormon town.)
Justin - It won't be.
28. Did you have drugs for the pain?
Chris - 2 words for you BACK LABOR
Ethan - Yes, BACK LABOR AGAIN!
Justin - I will.
29. Did you go vaginal or c-section?
Chris - Vaginal
Ethan - Vaginal
Justin - Hopefully the same
30. What was your first reaction after giving birth?
Chris - That was it? (Aside from back labor, I didn't feel anything in labor.) The nurse came in to look at how my contractions were going and was all "WOW! did you feel THAT one?" And I didn't. And from the time they told me to push until the time they rushed him away (stupid nurses) was 1/2 hour...so I wouldn't mind the rest being like that. My reaction 45 minutes after I had him was "Do I get to hold him now, or is that privilage reserved for the people who didn't do Jack in getting him here?"
Ethan - I'm glad I'm never going to have to have this Dr. again...he's a MORON! (It seem I can only have a good Dr. OR a good nurse...can't have both)
Justin - Who knows what it will be. Hopefully it will be "Hey, it IS possible to have a good Dr. AND a good nurse at the same time!"
31. How big was the baby?
Chris - 5lbs 13 oz
Ethan - 7lbs 7 oz
Justin - we don't know, it sounds like he'll be pretty close to Ethan's weight though.
32. Did your husband cry?
Even if I knew he did, I certainly would know better than to write yes to that. But he would have hid it from me if he had.
33. What did you name your baby?
Christopher Alexander
Ethan Gilbert
Justin Michael (I hope)
34. Did the name have any signifigance to you?
Chris - Named after Jon's best friend (who's really like a brother), Alexander was because I told Jon he could pick the middle name as long as we agreed on it. And it was the ONLY one we agreed on.
Ethan - Ethan was the ONLY name (again) that we could agree on; his middle name is after Jon's grandpa who died 2 weeks before Ethan was born (Ethan was going to be Ethan Michael, but we changed it)
Justin - Michael is Jon's middle name (and his Dad's first name) and Justin Michael is just better than Sven Wolfgang.
35. Does the baby's name fit?
Chris - Yes, but we just call him "Topher" and everyone seems to think that just fits better.
Ethan - Yes
Justin - I'm sure hoping so, 'cause I HATE trying to come up with boys names that Jon and I agree on, so I'm not likely going to change it if it doesn't fit...it will just have to work.
36. Did the baby have any complications?
Chris - Jaundice, Febral Seizures
Ethan - No
Justin - Hope not
37. How old is your baby today?
Chris - 3
Ethan - 1
Justin - T minus 110 days (Woo-hoo! I'm almost in double digets!)
38. When is the next one coming?
That would be Justin (May 12th)
39. If you could would you do it over again?
I'm with Ranee' on this one. If you are saying I could have the baby WITHOUT the pregnancy and labor then NO WAY IN HADES would I ever go through it again. But since it's the only way I know of to get my own baby, yes I would do it again.
1. Where were you when you first found out you were pregnant?
Chris - Officially I was in the bathroom...I knew about 2 months before that though.
Ethan - Same except I knew about 1 month before.
Justin - Same

Ethan - Oh, good.
Justin - Do you feel better now that you KNOW?
But he was happy with all of them. You should have seen him the first time he felt Chris kick. It was really cute.
