His first day of School is on Monday. :( (Don't be mad that I didn't tell you Mama, I just found out this afternoon). I guess on the plus side, they let me choose how many days a week will work for us. They said since he's four we will let him go up to 4 times a week, depending on what I think is best for him. I jokingly (kind of) said "I know he's not going to have a problem. He never went through that 'oh, no, Mom's leaving and not coming back' stage. I say 'bye, I'll see you later" and he says "bye" and goes and plays. I know HE'S ready...it's his Mom that I hope is ready." And they went all out, saying how they want to do it so that it's the easiest on the whole family. So even if I thought that it would mildly traumatize Ethan, they'd take that into account too. They are really good at working with the parents. I've been very impressed with them so far. And also, since it took so long getting through all the 'red tape', school will be over for the summer in a few months. So I guess it's all good. We all get broke in real slowly. They said it was a preference to go at least 2 times a week, but if I felt like someone in the family wasn't ready for that, they could do once a week. So we hit a happy medium and decided that he'd go 3 times a week. Then we will probably change it to 4 starting the next school year.

So what school program is this and why wasn't he going since August? I'm confused. But, I'm sure it will be good for him and he'll enjoy it.
It's pre-school and they start as soon as you can get through all the red-tape. They have kids starting all year long. When he actually goes to Kindergarten then he will start in Aug. like the rest of the kids.
