The most important part of the story is the ending...no one reads a book to get to the middle.

Heartattack!
Topher is the "informer" in this house. If he or Ethan or Justin needs help, he's the one to let me know. If Ethan gets hurt, he's on his way to get Mom. So while I was down in my scrapbooking room (at 9:00 at night) and I heard Topher yell "Mom, you go get him!" I (obviously) had to go investigate. I asked him what was wrong and he said "Ethan, Mom...he's outside." So I headed upstairs, assuming he went out the back (fully fenced in, so not that big of a deal...and they do that alot). Then Topher says "No Mom, Ethan out front door." We just put a child proof handle on the door because he kept doing that and I was thinking 'how in the world did he get out? Ethan can't open that door, and neither can Chris, we made sure of that when we bought the handle.' So I opened the door praying that he's sitting on the front step (as he will do occasionally). He wasn't there. Needless to say, it was pretty dark so panic set in pretty quick I looked all in our front yard and down the street...no Ethan. Then I had the feeling to go look upstairs (glad I listened) there was Ethan sitting in his room looking at me like he thought he might be in trouble. I was relieved and then I was VERY upset. I have no idea WHY Chris told me that Ethan had gone outside, but I was never happier that he had lied to me...(so to speak).

I hate those moments when your heart skips a few beats! A.J. does it to me every so often and I'm sort of a regular freaker-outer! Glad everything was fine!
yeah, you'd think I'd be used to it by now. But I guess not. I was so freaked out because I knew he had JUST stripped down to his diaper and it was off and on snowing...it was COLD. That and the neighbors a few doors down have this really vicious dog...he took 20 years off of my life I think.
Actually Topher wasn't laying-he said he was outside-he was of the roomhe was in-at least in his mind.
Except he wasn't out of his room Mom...he was just sitting behind the door, so I almost didn't even see him when I went to check the room. That would have been embarrassing if I hadn't been able to find him...call the police...and then find him behind his door. What would you say to that?
I am so used to the goofy things my boys did-I probably see nothing wrong with any of this other than the heart attack kids cause.
yes, but we are all still in wonder about how you even survived raising those boys...
