Oh, I forgot!

I forgot, Jon wanted me to write about our encounter with the neighbors yesterday. We were (finally) relaxing and we hear a knock at the door. Jon asked me to get it since he was feeding Justin. So I went to the door and there are the neighbors standing there (smoking). They didn't introduce themselves or any "welcome to the neighborhood" or anything like that (that's what we were expecting). No, they're all "Is that you're truck?" (We had to park Jon's work truck in front of their house...we figured it would be alright because it was just for ONE day and they park their car in front of our house EVERYDAY...I'm not sure why because they don't hardly ever have a car parked in front of their house). So I said "Yeah" and then waited for them to ask if we could move it or...something. They just stared at me. Then Jon (from upstairs) yelled "I could move it if you need me to." So I waited for a "Yeah, that would be nice" or a "No, we were just wondering whose truck it was."...again I waited for...SOMETHING. They just stood there staring. So I'm standing here thinking "Do I say 'Have a nice day' and close the door"... do I tell them (again) that Jon can move it if he needs to...do I just assume they want it moved? They just stood there staring. (While the wind blew their smoke into my house). Then finally they said "Oh, we were just wondering." But the way they said it said that they weren't "just wondering"...but what can they say since they park their car in front of our house everyday, they can't very well get upset about us doing it once...ah, what a neighborhood. So Jon just went and moved the truck. We figured we don't want our neighbors mad at us already. It's people like them that make Jon and I so home-sick for Butte.
